My condolences to the passing of "Auntie Ivy". I have not lived in Sacramento for over 40 years but I have fond memories of my childhood with the Lee kids. I am glad that I was able to see her at Joey's 60th Bday. She looked great then and I will remember her as such.

Ngin,

I’m still having a hard time believing that you’re no longer here. It’s hard to imagine going home to Sacramento and not seeing you there. I know you’re at peace now and with Yeh again, and that provides some relief to the pain I feel in my heart.

I have so many great memories of my childhood and you and Yeh are in many of them. I’ll always remember dusting the house with you, while singing and dancing to Chinese opera. I’ll always remember seeing you waiting for me at the street corner, as you let me slowly gain independence by walking the rest of the way home while you watched. I will always remember you waving back to me as I walked onto the driveway.

I admire the courage you showed over the last year. I am constantly amazed of the way you maintained your lifestyle and stayed active.

You have played such a major part in my life and as much as it hurts now to say goodbye, I feel so lucky and blessed to have had you in my life to learn from and aspire to. I will miss you so much but will forever cherish our memories together and share them with the generations to come. We could not have asked for a better woman leading our family.

I love you and miss you already.

To The Lee Family - I remember when Ivy would babysit Jen Jen and Tonii, she was always so good to the girls. My daughter Tonii even learned to say grandpa in chinese. Ivy, taught Tonii how to use chopstixs. Tonii always shared fond memories of Ivy. I would run into Ivy at Bel Air Market on Florin Road every now and then, she would always ask about Tonii. Ivy, was a very kind, very loving woman, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace lovely lady and God bless your family.
