Iwona (Pastuszak) Walther

September 14, 1978 - June 20, 2025

Iwona Walther (née Pastuszak), lovingly known as Ivona or Iwonka, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2025, in Southern California. She was 46 years old.

Born in Lublin, Poland, Iwona was raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where she completed her early education. She was a proud graduate of A.Y. Jackson High School (Class of 1998) and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and International Business from the University of Ottawa. She later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University-an accomplishment she held with pride.

Throughout her career, Iwona was dedicated to helping others succeed. As Founder and Principal Consultant of Creative HR Support LLC, she spent over a decade connecting organizations with top Human Resources talent. She also supported individuals through resume writing, interview coaching, and career guidance. Her work was marked by compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

She was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter and a treasured daughter, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her parents, Wieslaw and Lidia Pastuszak; her brother and sister-in-law; her niece and nephew; and many extended family members and friends across Canada, the United States, and abroad.

Iwona will be remembered for her intelligence, generosity, and kind heart. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.

Though Iwona's time with us was far too short, the impact she made will endure. Her memory will continue to inspire strength, compassion, and purpose in all who carry her spirit forward.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Hyacinth Church (201 Lebreton St N, Ottawa, ON K1R 7H9, Canada), followed by interment at Hope Cemetery. Further details will be shared privately.

No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. Take comfort in knowing that so many people are here for you.

Farewell to a beautiful person who left this world way to soon.

Iwona. Although, we lost our connection, I will always remember your infectious laugh and your bigger than life personality. Farewell my beautiful friend.

Iwona, you uplifted me as my friend through a difficult time in my life. You were beautiful both inside and out. Such a high energy and joyful soul. A truly good person. I will remember our fun times out with "the girls", our chats and the time spent together with our daughters. Thank you for your friendship. You are loved and much missed.

Iwona and I met at Algonquin College. She was a ray of sunshine. her laugh was contagious, and she had a heart of gold. We shared so many beautiful memories. I had the honour of being her maid of honour at her wedding, and we watched our daughters grow.
I can´t find the words to express how especially she was to me. I will miss you, my dear friend. I will always love you. You will live in my heart until the day I see you again.
