Jerry is survived by daughter; Therese Lumley of Ankeny; sons, Larry, Jack and Reggie (LuAnn) Lewis all of Des Moines; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Ankeny Funeral Home will receive flowers at 1510 W. 1st St. prior to service time, or memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be donated at a later date.

Therese- I am so sorry for your loss. I know your father meant a lot to you. If you need to talk please give me a call. I wish I could make it this Saturday to the funeral, but I will be their in spirit. When you are feeling up to it, let me know and we can go out for coffee. We miss you at work; I miss you stopping by my desk to see how I am doing. I hope to see you soon.

Therese and family, We have enjoyed having Jerry with us over the years at AHEPA 192-II Apartments. He did many nice things for other residents and I will always remember how much he loved bringing cookies to "Carmelita" before she passed on. He will be missed by all of us. Our deepest sympathy to your family. Lynette Nelson and residents of AHEPA.
