To the Raines Family.Mr.Raines was much loved by everyone at Gamestop.He was the nicest person I have ever met in my 25 years of working there. You all are in my prayers.

Very sorry to hear this news. Paul was just an awesome leader. I first met him in 2007 before he was promoted to CEO and he was the coolest exec in the room. Just lightened everything up. I of course saw him at various conferences and have never forgotten the window and mirror and use it to this day. That's the sign of a great leader. Countless people he has left his legacy with, countless.
The last time I talked with Paul was @ a conference in San Antonio, we were celebrating the Madden release and I was wearing my Matt Ryan jersey, being that I'm from ATL. He came up to me and we litterally talked football and Atl for 30 min. He just had a way about him. I really can't put it in words but here's a powerful man leading a 10b organization and he's talking pizza and football with me for half an hour.

So sorry for this sad news. I worked with Paul during a trip to GameStop Italy in the past and his humanity and great leadership will be missed.
He was a great person and he was always talking about his business experiences abroad.
I send my deepest condolences to his family.

I am heartbroken to hear of Pauls passing and so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great friend from my days at Home Depot and I enjoyed spending many evenings with him over the past 10+ years in Dallas while I was travelling out-of-town and he made time for me. I know he adored his family and cared deeply about his many, many friends. I will miss him very much.

Paul was one of the first guys we met at Ga Tech when our son Jody started there. He was always so nice to us A great friend and mentor to our son who was only 17 at the time. We are so sorry for your loss
