Julius C. 'Bill Sears

Julius C. �Bill� Sears, 87, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was born July 5, 1920 in Darnell, LA, to the late Robert and Minerva Sears. Bill was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. A member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Bill retired from both the Federal Highway Administration and the Arkansas Highway Department. Bill was a member of Life Line Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary E. Sears; and daughter, Claudia Sears. Survivors include three children, Wayne Sears of Hickory Flat, MS, Linda Best and husband Jerry of Bigelow, AR, and Alan Sears of Mabelvale, AR; one sister, Gladys Dykes of Vicksburg, MS; nine grandchildren, Claudia Heer, Aranda Sears, Cale Sears, Justin Sears, Dalton Sears, Dylan Sears, Michael Mosely, Austin Best and Garrett Best; two great grandchildren, Alexia Thomas and Jayce Donaldson; and his loyal caregiver, Willie Stigall.
