To the members of J Taylor's family,

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of J. Both Anita and I worked with J at MWK. I have known and worked with J for many, many years on the North West Shelf projects and other projects over 30 years. He was the legal eagle that I turned to most often in legal matters for MWK and KBR. He will be deeply missed.

To the Taylor Family,

I was one of the lucky ones who worked with J on the other side of the pond.
He was such a beautiful man, his intelligence, kindness and sense of fun will make me smile for the rest of my days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. I am sure he is up there now – organizing the Angels!

We were so sad to return to NC on Sunday night after a week end in Houston, to learn of J's death. So near, so far, but our memories of all the Taylors and our love for all the good you stand for, comfort us. We hug you from afar, and want you to know our prayers are with you. J had such a presence all around him and he added energy to any group. He is missed.

Your tears I understand, but grief is deaf; It cannot hear the words you gently planned and tried to say.
But....

Dear Beverly Cox Taylor and Family

As a long time business partner and personal friend of J, we convey our deepest condolences to you and your family. J was one of the first and leading lawyers we successfully worked together on international projects. He was very instructive and the experience we gained from him is invaluable. It was not only educational but also truly enjoyable. We will deeply miss J.

Bev & Taylor Family:

I was sorry to hear of J's passing. My first experience with J was during an offsite law department meeting after Brown & Root & Kellogg merged. We made name tags and inadvertently spelled his name wrong. We were informed his name was J no period. He was one of a kind. Please accept my deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

Bev, we are so very sorry. I remember well my introduction to J - on the phone - while he was in the PRC! CJD did the honors. For a small-town girl from Louisiana to speak with some who was IN the PRC was great fun. Later in the years when y'all were in London, the top of my list was to have lunch with J, and I did.

J was a lovely human being - funny, smart, kind, so decent. We will never forget him.

My condolences to J's family. When I was a salesman for Kellogg in the early Eighties, J taught me much about contract law. I really enjoyed working with him. A Great Guy. Our world is poorer without him.

Bev:

J was a wonderful person. The 12 years that I worked for him were the best. I learned so much from him, and at times he acted like a father to me by scolding me for not taking care of my health. I will miss him very much. He was so proud of his family. My deepest sympathy to you, Shelley, and Mark.

My dear Beverly, Mark and Shelley,
Our thoughts are with you during this very sad time. J was such a character and we loved having you all as neighbors. I will never forget the night when Shelley was babysitting our kids and they misbehaved. We came home to find J babysitting instead! We felt like we had all been punished.
He will be missed by so many. He had a great life, he loved deeply and he was so deeply loved.
With our sympathy,
