I met Howard in 1964 right before he graduated high school. I later on became good friends with him when he and Mr. Sylvan had the Stereo Shop on Common street. I ended up working part time with him and when I was laid off from Firestone plant, I went to work full time for him. We had a lot of fun together going to the gun range and he introduced me into collecting pistols of which I still do. He was a very generous person and got along with everybody. We enjoyed the same music together had many laughs with the many friends that would stop by just to chat or to buy some new stereo equipment and get the latest speakers or amps available. I will surely miss him. To his family of whom I met along the way, he was a dear friend and I am sure you all miss him. I offer you peace in this time of grief.

To the family of Howard. He was such a kind and generous man. I had met him through music and later was privileged to befriend and cook for him for several years. I know he will be missed.

Stacy & Sylvan Company Employees,
I have to say I had the pleasure of knowing Howard from a young age as we were raised on Kirkman & Division St.together.
Seeing Howard. stopping to speak with me as he headed to work or ending a night of devotion taking care of his animals. Howard was a very smart individual. in addition to his big heart.
I will miss our conversations .
Rest on Peace My Friend.
Prayers to All,
Connie Corley
