Jack Leroy Bell

In loving memory of Jack Leroy Bell, who passed away peacefully in his home on April 17, 2009. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending Centralia Ward.
Jack's hobbies and interests were gardening, his international college students, missionary work, implementing projects as he saw fit and extending a helping hand to others. He treasured time with his wife and family and wanted to provide new experiences and memories.
He was born in Perry, Iowa, May 11, 1939, and spent most of his childhood in Des Moines, IA. He later moved to Kellogg, ID, where he graduated from high school in 1957.
He served in the Army from 1958-60. One highlight in Jack's life was a time as a
shareholder at Stevenson Co-Ply. He retired in 2001 as a millwright from Hardell
Mutual Plywood.
Jack is survived by his wife, Vickie (Walker), Centralia; two brothers, John and Arthur Bell, Post Falls, ID; and one sister, Connie Bell; Pinehurst, ID. He has three daughters, Sherry Bell, Washougal, Lisa Bell, Shelton, and Brooke Turner, Ashland, OR, and three sons, Michael Bell, Washougal, Vincent Bell, Lake Oswego, OR, and Eric Bell, Medford, OR., five step-children, Angela Dalgleish, Walla Walla, Sarah Rogerson, Rochester, Joseph Rogerson, Centralia, Lisa Catlin, Toledo, and Gena Buie, Rexburg, ID. Jack also has 23 grandchildren.
We will all miss Jack sorely and have happy memories of him in our hearts. He is a
blessing to all who knew him.
There will be a viewing Monday evening at Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock and Tuesday, 2:30-3 p.m. at Centralia LDS meetinghouse. Memorial service is at 3:30 p.m. at same location. The graveside service will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
