Dr. Jack. S. Brown Sr.

I had the privilege of being in Dr. Brown´s embryology class in 1966. His teaching went far beyond biology. He was a role model and mentor. More than half a century later, I think of him often. Thank you, Dr. Brown.

Dr. Brown was a huge part of my best memories at UNA. In the classroom, he was the consumate professional - always encouraging, prodding, and challenging. Out of the classroom he was a confidant and friend. He absolutely inspired me to be and do my best. To this day some 38 years later, I remember more from his classes than I could possibly imagine. I shall miss him tremendously.

Mrs. Brown, Trish and Stan you were blessed to have him as your husband and father. You all will be in my prayers.

I woulld like to send my condolences to Mrs Brown and her family, I'm so sorry to hear abour Doc.Brown passing. He was a very nice and kind man, I remember him and his wife coming to Mcdonald's all the time and we talk alot. I'm really going miss seeing him. Please accept my sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. Brown. I took a number of classes with him from 1970 to 1971 when I graduated. Besides being an excellent Professor he was a mentor and role model. He was an example of class and caring for students. In my career in the Pharmaceutical industry, I often drew on the education from his classes. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Brown. I have so many wonderful memories of classes, field trips, etc. under his leadership as well as great memories of your family. He was a gifted and dynamic teacher, a mentor and a friend. He so generously shared his knowledge and talents.
