I remember my friend and fellow engineer Jack Buckley very well. We were students at Fort Wayne Central prior to my time in the U.S. Marine Corps when we met. I have a lot of respect for Jack as a friend as well as for his accomplishments. My condolences to the surviving family members.

I'll always cherish my earliest memories of Mr. Buckley at Voss West Little League, then as a mentor & one of my engineering associates at Naman, but most vivid is his kind toughness and fairness. My condolences to all the family.

God Bless JBB!

My sincere condolences to the Buckley family, particularly to my dear friends Elizabeth and Steve on the loss of their beloved father. I offer you this verse on The Power of Prayer: "The day was long, the burden I had borne seemed heavier than I could longer bear, and then it lifted - but I did not know some one had knelt in prayer; had taken me to God that very hour, and asked for the easing of the load and He, in infinite compassion, had stooped down and taken it from me." May your father find peace in God's grace.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam; and for a brief moment, its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it. Walk with God, Jack. I'll miss you.

We will definitely miss Mr. Buckley's chats outside. He would come over when we were messing around outside just to say hello and offer words of wisdom.
My prayers go out to the family-especially Mrs. Buckley.
Be comforted in knowing that this is not good-bye, but only so-long for now. Mr. Buckley's faith has now been given sight and he has heard the words we all long to hear: "Well done my good and faithful servant."

Heaven is even more precious now. I look forward to seeing Mr. Buckley again in "that bright land where we'll never grow old!"
Praise to God for a life well lived!
