I just found out of Dr. Croghan passing. I can't even begin to say how sorry I am for your loss. He was such a wonderful dr. He saved my life.

I just found out that Dr. Croughan passed away!! I am so sorry for the family's loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to them. He was a good man and an excellent doctor. Rest in peace.

I worked with Dr. Croughan back in the early 90's at Incarnate Word Hospital. I recently was jsut reminsicng my St. Louis days and Dr. Croughan was one of the first person I remembered. Thank you for your guidance and mentorship. Condolence to the entire family.

I wrote you a farewell letter, little did I know that you were already gone. I guess that fit the Jack Croughan that I came to know over the 8+ years I knew you as a patient, fellow physician & friend. I will miss you dearly. My prayers & condolences to your family. Dr. Croughan was a physician for the Valley Hope Association's St. Louis outpatient office. He was a wonderful and caring man who willingly shared his experience and knowledge with our staff. We will miss him very much but feel blessed to have been able to work with him and learn from his wisdom.

I never really had a chance to get to know my cousin Jack until much later in life- my older siblings knew him much better than I did. When I finally had a chance to spend some time with him, I realized what a great guy he was...so intelligent, thoughtful, and the fabulous Croughan sense of humor. And- he had the same first name as my dad...and that means a lot. He will be missed, and the world was a better place because of him.

Dr. Croughan was my collaborating physician. He was a brilliant man! I mean absolutely BIRLLIANT!! His guidance and experiences broadened by knowledge in mental health and for that I will be forever greatful. He was so down to earth, easy to talk to, and always made time for me no matter what. He was always willing to teach me. The knowledge I have gained from him is invaluable. I cannot explain the gratitude I will always have for him. I am deeply saddened by his loss. I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Croughan's passing. I had the privilege of referring people to, and collaborating with, Dr.Croughan for 20 years in my career as a chemical dependency counselor. He was my very favorite psychiatrist in St. Louis. He understood addiction and helped so many, many people who struggled with both addiction and depression. He was a warm, compassionate and gifted man and I will miss him terribly. I send my deepest sympathy to Dr. Croughan's family, colleagues and friends.
