Jack was a very gifted veteran and cartoonist. May he rest in peace with his beloved wife. Both were close friends that I became friends when I assisted his belated wife Candee with a committee at St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, Sandy Springs from 1999 until she retired.

There are many happy memories When working with Jack on the MARK TRAIL strip. He was a talented artist, lover of nature, true gentleman, kind person and dear friend. He will be missed. Condolences to his children and family. The world is a better place because of Jack Elrod.
