Jack, You were the best boss. I enjoyed working on election days with you at the helm. Thank you. You are greatly missed. May the Lord bring comfort to your wife, family, and close friends.

I had the pleasure of being Jack & Elaine's neighbor growing up in St Clair Shores. I worked at the City of St Clair Shores and enjoyed Jack's friendship. He always smiled and joked. We will miss him. Sincere condolences for all of his family. Rosanne & Jim Minne

I had the privilege of working with Jack Fields as Deputy City Clerk. He made the day go by fast and with a smile; enjoyed his Phantom of the Opera songs. We all knew the songs before we saw the play! When he hurt is leg skate boarding, we got him back....told him that his car was being towed away because he was illegally parked in front of city hall. He admitted after that "we got him". My deepest sympathy to his family. Let his memories live forever.

Dear Teri and family, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. In reading the other entries you can see what a wonderful person he was and will always be, in cherished memories.. My father always told us (kids) how important it was to keep our sense of humor. Guess our "Dads" were of the same thought that laughter was an important part of life. Take care.

Jack was a wonderful man. Very professional City Clerk for many years. Jack had a great sense of humor, and you never left without smiling when you talked to him. May he RIP.
