Jack Bower Houck

Jack Houck was my Sunday school teacher during my high school years and a very powerful influence in my. I can thank his awesome Godly example and caring spirit as a direct contributor to my salvation. As the song says numerous people will be lining up in heaven to tell Jack Houck "Thank you for giving to the Lord, I am a life that was changed..... I'm so glad you gave."

One of the kindness men I ever had the change to be friends with. He was a wonderful influence for my son Allan and a stabilizing friend in a difficult period in my life.

Jack Houck played an important part in my life from the 3rd Grade through my senior adult years. His selfless love for his Family and "adopted" sons like myself always made our days bright. Anne and I send our love and prayers to Lou and the entire Houck Family.

Uncle Jack was one, if not the, most kind, gentle men I have ever known. He always had a smile and a song! So in his honor and memory, here's a song for him I've heard from our Houck Clan many, many times...

Papaw, you know how much I love you and I am grateful that we were so incredibly close. Death won't stop that. I looooooooooove you!

Lou, Bo, Keith & family...we were so sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. The memories we have of him are filled with love and happiness. He was a wonderful christian man. We will keep you all in our prayers as you walk through this difficult time and may God's hand of peace be upon your spirits with the knowledge that Jack is with our Lord and Savior. Hugs.
