Jack Malcolm Maple, 90, of Louisville passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

Jack was born on September 19, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Thelma Maple. He was retired from Dupont and a member of Parkland Baptist Church. He was also a member of Abraham Lodge #8 F&AM, American Legion Post 201, a 32 degree Scottish Rite and a veteran in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Lee Maple and a sister, Jean Buchannan.

He is survived by his children, John Michael Maple (Kathy) and Marcia Meredith; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Jack's life will be conducted at Noon on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Sunday at the funeral home.
