Dear Dad, I feel very empty and will not ever be the same since you are not physically with us. I will always miss the times we spent together in Business, and much more importantly, as your Son. Our numerous Golfing and Boating adventures will always be with me. I will fondly think of you every time I am fortunate enough to cast of the lines or hit that optimistic first tee shot. Dear Dad:
"A father holds his daughter's hand for a short while, but he holds her heart forever".
You held my hand when I had a convulsion when I was three and you literally ran with me in your arms to the hospital.
You held my hand when I was a scared kindergartner going to a huge new school in Chicago.
You held my hand when I was a sobbing first grader wanting to stay home from school because the kids called me four eyes and teacher's pet.
You held my hand when we danced at the Father-Daughter school dance and you told me I looked beautiful even though I had just chipped my front tooth.
You held my hand when you gave a nervous bride away at the altar.
I love you, Dad, and I miss you, but one day I'll hold your hand again.

Jack, you were a central figure in our family, a loving husband to my sister, Irene, a devoted father to Marcie and Mark, and a great brother-in-law and good friend. I loved your boundless optimism, good humor, and devotion to family. You provided good advice, support, and encouragement. You helped me navigate some rough spots and I am grateful for that. You will be sorely missed.

Dad, I was a lucky girl to have had you for 61 years and to have grown up with, learned from and emulated. Thank you for your unconditional love and for showing all 5 of your children your great strength and that being your daughter/son has been an honor.
