Jack Eugene Mobley went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at the age of 78, leaving his family to God's comfort. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is be revealed to us...." (Romans 8:18.)
Jack was born in Pulaski, Missouri on April 11th, 1936 to Elvis and Bethel Mobley. He was one of twelve children (9 boys and 3 girls). He was born in a small two room house next to the train tracks. His family moved to Doniphan where he lived on a farm raising cattle and horses. He traveled and worked various construction jobs throughout the United States. During those travels, he met the love of his life, Bernice Malchar while in Port Lavaca, Texas. Jack and Bernice married January 2nd, 1960. They had three sons, Chuck, Todd and Jeff. The family moved many times over the years until they made their home in Deer Park, Texas in 1969.
Jack was a self-made man. He had little more than a high school education and founded Mobley Industrial Painters in March of 1979 (out of his home), which became Mobley Industrial Services Inc. in 2000. The company was built based on honesty and integrity and now has five offices and 1500 employees.
Jack's passion was his family and his love of the outdoors. He was a true "Cowboy" and a gentleman. He loved his ranches, riding a horse, his cows, riding on his tractor, hunting.....and a nice cigar. Jack gave back to the community every chance he got. He was an active member of numerous associations and very involved in the community. He was a large supporter of the Pasadena and Houston Rodeos.
Jack Mobley could light up a room with his smile, charm and personality. His smile was contagious, as was his laughter. "Bless your heart" was a heartfelt sentiment from Jack.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Bernice, of 55 years. Jack also leaves behind sons Chuck Mobley and wife Kelly, Jeff Mobley and wife Paula, and daughter-in-law Tyma Mobley. He is survived by grandchildren Blake, Kari, Kaylin, Jordan, Reece, Chase, Grant and Ty. Two great-grandchildren Abigail and Karson Need. Brothers and sisters, Lavell Mobley and wife EllaMel, Bill Mobley and wife Connie, Elva Braschler and husband Buck, Helen Bell and husband Wayne, Larry Mobley and wife CheChe, Jim Mobley and wife Shary, Dick Mobley and wife Rebecca, Glenn Mobley, Jane Holland and husband Wendell and Ed Mobley and wife Jane. He also leaves behind many friends. He never met a stranger.
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)
Jack is preceded in death by his parents Elvis and Bethel Mobley, son Todd Mobley and brother Don Mobley.

I met Jack when he married my cousin
Bernice. I was 10 years old. I always admired him from a distance. He was always amicable and kind especially to my parents. I know he is missed by his wonderful family.Jack led a gifted life compared to most of us. He was not afraid to reach out and do more than most of us.
Smart, courageous, kind, devoted to his
wife and family. Jack was true gem in
God's eyes. God bless, Darrell Cameron

THE MEASURE OF A MAN: Not - "how did he die" But - "how did he live" Not - "what did he gain" But - "what did he give" These are the units To measure the worth Of a man, as a man, Regardless of birth.
