I have very fond memories of my Uncle Jack. My Dad, Earl Patrick, and he were very different, yet both talented. I enjoyed Uncle Jack's quick wit. I have fond memories of when he would have contests against Aunt Betty's boys and my older brother while we were visiting at Grandma and Grandpa Patrick's home. The contest was to see who could do the most one handed push-ups. Guess who almost always won? Uncle Jack! Just like a true Marine! He loved his family and was very proud of all of his children. It comforts me to know that he is in his Father's arms, pain free, and watching us from heaven . . . .
