One of the funniest men as well as the best diagnostician ever. And a beloved father, who always had a new adventure in the future. His future was cut short far too soon.

To the Family of Dr. Jack Shronts --
You have my deepest Sympathy in the loss of Dr. Shronts. He was my Dr. until his retirement. We had a Dr./Patient relationship for 30 years. We used to joke about the fact that we were the same age - and I teased him by saying -- but Dr. my hair is still brown and no gray and yours is almost white. Dr. Shronts saw me through 2 major surgeries and I trusted and believed in him totally.
He would often tell me that I needed to lose weight and I would tell him I was BIG, BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL. He would laugh and say, but you are just telling yourself it is OK to be heavy -- and I would tell him, but "I am being very positive about it" :-).
I remember one night when I working at the Historical Research Center (HRC) at the Mall of America, he and Barb stopped by. I had told him at my annual physical that I was working there and he wanted me to meet Barb.
He was truly a special person and a great influence in my life. I am so thankful that I was his patient from the beginning of his medical practice until he retired. He will be missed very much.
Sincerely,
Donna Osthus

I only knew Jack through his sister and my friend, Claudia Sandberg, but I am deeply saddened by his untimely death. My husband Marv sends his condolences, as well.
