Our sincere condolences to Shauna and Family for the loss of their beloved Jack.
Jack was the first person we met in Calgary at a dinner party at Irena and Stan Wosk's home back in 1998.

Dear Shauna, Ted, Michele and family,
We were so saddened to hear of Jack's passing. What a fine mentch he was. I learned so much from him, when we worked together on the Little Synagogue committee. As a true teacher, he shared his vast knowledge in that modest and unassuming way of his. May you find comfort in the treasure of your cherished memories. Riki & Don Heilik ( Scottsdale, AZ)

Dear Shauna and Family,
Leon and I were so very saddened by the news of Jack's death. What a special man he was - intelligent, kind, considerate, thoughtful and truly a gentle man and a good friend. Jack's knowledge of Jewish history in this part of the world, and his willingness to share that knowledge was of incalcuable value to all of us in the heritage field. The Little Synagogue on the Prairie Project is particularly in his debt. I remember Jack's talks at various meetings and conferences over the years, since even before we were part of forming the Jewish Historical Society of Southern Alberta. Jack's wonderful details, always well-researched and presented with his lovely sense of humour, made all of us in the audience happy that we were able to be present to hear him.
Leon and I send our love and condolences.
