It is hard to say how I feel about losing my Great Grandpa, Paw Paw. I was so blessed to have seen him in April and for me to be able to introduce him to my husband David. The best memory I have of him will always be cemented with a picture I have. Me at the age of 5 and my Paw Paw walking with me out the pier to show me how to crab. I will never forget how much fun that was and how much I will miss him. I pray that the rest of my family is doing okay at this time, for I was unable to be there to be able to say good-bye. I love all of my family and will keep Paw Paw with me in my heart always.

Paw Paw. I didn't get to tell him I'd heard what the best way to catch fish is...have someone throw it to you! I'm proud to be a part of a family that began of my grandfathers' being. The backbone, root, and seed of our blood and love,a part of each of us. The values, life lessons, and how to shuck oysters are but the beginnings of the long list of what we learned from him. I'll cherish the many memories I am blessed to have to keep and treasure. I may not get up that early to go fishing or to mass again, but to spend time with him while visiting was a pleasure. Thank you Paw Paw for what each of us have of you to live with and share with others. Far from Biloxi I'm not able to stand with my mom, grandmother, and family to share our grief and memories today as he's laid to rest. Rest peacefully Paw Paw, you lived life as you enjoyed it, can't ask for more than that! I love and miss you. Hope there's fishing in Heaven!Love, Jana Joy

My deepest condolences to the Trochessett family. PawPaw Trochessett was a wonderful man, a terrific grandfather and family man who embraced life. He fried a mean speckled trout, and had a magic touch for catching them. He was supremely confident on the water, and inspired confidence in the rest of us. His influence has reached widely, and he will be missed.
