Jack Lewis "Jackie" Walker Jr.

I'm saddened to hear about Jacks passing!
I served with him in Vietnam and remember him as a great soldier and friend! A little light went away with his passing.

My lifelong friend Jackie learned a long time ago what takes others a longer time - childhood friends are important. They are a part of your history and Jackie cherished those he went to school with and grew up with. We were important to him. He was important to us. He was instrumental in bringing us together through the years. I will miss meeting up with him and Mary for lunch when they were in Tyler, or getting a call from Jackie to go with him to buy his precious Mary a Christmas or birthday gift or just a call from him regarding someone we knew. He loved his wife Mary and his son Shawn. He loved us and we loved him. It is my privilege and honor for Jackie to have been My Friend! ❤
