Jackie "Jack" Lee Tabor Jr.

Jackie Lee “Jack” Tabor Jr., age 51 of Newaygo, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his home following a short illness.  Jack was born on December 21, 1970 in Grand Rapids to Jackie “Jack” Lee and Barbara (Thompson) Tabor Sr.  Jack moved from the Grand Rapids area to the Newaygo area 2005 where he enjoyed taking care of his yard.  Jack was a welder and worked at J Star Motion in Cedar Springs for several years where he enjoyed welding and his job.  Jack enjoyed riding his Harley Davison Motorcycle, listening to music, was everyone’s “Pappy” but truly cherished the time he spent with his family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Tanaya Tabor of Newaygo; his children and grandchildren,  Breann Tabor and her children Jacquilyn and Robert of Morley; Jackie “Jackson” Tabor III and his daughter, Alaia of Flint; Damien Tabor of Newaygo, Christopher Beardsley and his daughter, Naleeana of Newaygo; Gene Krocker and his children, Aubrie, Ryder and Charlie of Flint; his sisters and brother, Casey Smith; Tracy Vandyke; Cathy Devoe and Gary Tabor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Terri and Curtis Beardsley of Newaygo; brothers-in-laws, Zack Beardsley and Jed Beardsley,  Jack was preceded in death by his son, Alton Kilbourn; granddaughter, Laylah Heether; his parents, Jackie Lee “Jack” and Barbara Tabor Sr. and his brother, Jesse Tabor.
