Jackie Jerome

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jackie Jerome, beloved wife of Jerry Jerome, who departed this life peacefully after a remarkable 58 years of marriage. Jackie left us on January 6,2025 surrounded by her loving family. Her enduring love story with Jerry is a testament to their unwavering commitment and devotion to one another. Together, they created a beautiful family filled with laughter, support, and cherished memories. Jackie was proud of her children, Kristal and Korey, and her grandchildren, Tyler, Kortne and Austin, whom she adored and who brought her immense joy.

Born on December 23 1948, Jackie was a beacon of love and strength. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her family embodying kindness and compassion. She worked tirelessly raising her children to ensure they had a schedule full of activities and sports to instill structure and work ethic. To push beyond what they thought possible, and to finish what they started because she knew those life skills were foundational to future success. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Her greatest treasures were her grandkids. She purchased an old Dolphin motor home that was nicknamed "the Turd" and learned how to drive it and set it up with the help of her grandkids. They went on so many activity filled adventures that left the grandkids with memories for a lifetime. These stories always find their way into family conversations today leading to smiles and laughter.

Jackie was the matriarch of this family that always provided a soft landing for family members in need of support, love, a listening ear, and perhaps some encouragement. In Jackie's house, you could always come over, the door was never locked so you just walk right in. Grieving, hungry, happy, sad it all ended at Jackie's house. She welcomed everyone. Sometimes all it took was sitting by the fire in the comfort and safety of the "coma" chair and you were healed.

She will be remembered not only for the love she gave but also for her vibrant personality and infectious smile. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel special and valued, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Jackie is survived by her sisters Donna and Glenna and joins her sisters Linda and Carla in paradise.

Jackie Jerome will forever be missed, but her love will remain a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
