Jackie Evelina Littrell passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 in Bonham, Texas.
Jackie was born January 1, 1941 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Cordie Reese Littrell, Sr. and Wilma (Lamb) Littrell. At an early age, her family moved to Borger, Texas where she attended school. Jackie lived in Lawton, Oklahoma for many years with her dear friends, John, and Lavada Powell. She retired from Federal Civil Service at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her “joys in life” included playing softball, watching the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys, playing other games, fishing and hunting. She enjoyed doing yard work and listening to music. Jackie was a faithful unwavering friend and loved her family. She loved her Lord and Savior.
Jackie is survived by her brothers, Luther Littrell of Ivanhoe, Texas and Melvin Littrell and his wife Mary of Sulphur Springs, Texas; her sisters, Ruby Eaton and her husband Craig of Amarillo, Texas and Geraldine Cross of Bonham, Texas; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Littrell of Bonham, Texas and Kathy Littrell of Telephone, Texas and Jackie's most loved family Shawn Powell and wife Keri of Midwest City, Oklahoma, granddaughter Bailey and husband Ronny, numerous nieces and nephews, including nieces, Brenda Smith and Rhonda Hicks her special caretakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Bill Littrell, Pete Littrell, infant twin brothers Elton and Delton Littrell, C.R. “Red” Littrell Jr. and Donald Littrell, nephew, Billy Reeves, her dear friends, John and Lavada Powell; sisters-in-law, Lelahvon Littrell and Betty Littrell, and brothers-in-laws, Gerald Reeves and Wilbur Cross.
Jackie will lie in state at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Her family will have a private celebration of life service on Saturday, February 25, 2023 and then burial will take place next to her mother and father in Forest Grove Cemetery, Telephone, Texas.
The family wishes to express heart felt gratitude to the staff at Seven Oaks Nursing Home, Taylor with Heart to Heart and Wise Funeral Home for their loving care to Jackie.
