My sincere condolences for your family's loss. Jack was a good friend of my late father Harry Applebaum. We use to go visit and chit chat at his catering company. Enjoyed many of his delicious foods. He will be missed by many.

Jack Edelson catered our wedding in 1960. The food was great but what were we thinking when we served tongue-in-tomato-sauce for the first course.? May his memory be a blessing.

My sincere condolences to the Edelson family on the loss of Jack. Jack was the best of the best. He helped my husband out when we had to make a Bar-Mitzvah and a Bas-Mitzvah, he had a kiddush it was so good, then we had a party for the family and kids at his J Steak house. His food was always above any other caterer. He will be missed by an awful lot of people. I will always remember Jack "the caterer" in my heart.

My condolences to the family and friends of Jack. It was such a pleasure to meet Jack a number of years back when he and his daughter Natalie and I went to the Canadian War Museum. Through meeting him and through the stories Natalie would tell us up here in the Yukon, about life with Jack in Ottawa growing up, I learned just what a character he was, and about his other notable quotes. Sweet journey to you Jack!

What a loving tribute to a fine gentleman. Who could forget his dry sense of homour, his kindly manner and the best party sandwiches in town. May his memory be a blessing to the family. Janet Ginsburg Cohen
