Andi and family...
My deepest sympathies... I am so sorry for your loss.
My son Jesse played hockey with Jake at Beck. I don't believe Jacob got paid to do street hockey. He just loved the boys and loved hockey.
When Jesse entered East he was thrilled to have Jake for history as they already had a connection and this was very comforting.
He was passionate about his job and always had a smile on his face...
He will truly be missed...,

Mr. Loew was my favorite middle school teacher at Beck. He not only had passion for teaching history, but he had passion for us students. My fondest memory is of him teaching me how to play street hockey. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Dear Loew Family,
I am sincerely sorry for the loss you are currently facing. I had Mr. Loew as an eighth-grade history teacher two years ago, and he will be a teacher that I will remember for the rest of my life. He came to my middle school with the intention of educating young minds, and he did just that. He cared for his students and treated them with respect. We were not just his pupils, but his friends; he treated us as adults and made us strive to be the best people we could be. Rest in Peace Mr. Loew, you were an awesome teacher and overall admirable man.

Dear Andi and Loew Family,
My son Jackson had Jacob at Beck for 2 years. Humanities and World Civ. Once your child gets to middle school, you sometimes lose the personal communication and touch your child had with elementary schools teachers and don't always get to know all the teachers that they have. This was not the case with Mr Loew. He was extremely passionate about his students and their learning. He wanted and expected their best from them. He truly cared. We had many conversations and he knew what my son's capabilities were, even when he did not know himself.
I am so very grateful he touched my son's life.
I'm deeply saddened to hear this. May his memory be for a blessing.
