I just heard the sad news about Jake today. He was a classmate of my son, Alex Deihl at CADES. He always brought a smile to everyone that came in contact with him. He was a true light and funny guy. He always had a huge smile on his face and that laugh was infectious. Jake, you are now our angel that looks over our special children.

That wonderful smile is now looking down from Heaven and hopefully is helping his devoted family cope with his passing. He is catching up with his StEdmond's buddies and just having a grand time running all over the place through the meadows and streams. When I learned the news last night, my immediate thought was his constant smile. Never saw him without it!! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Bridget G. Dunn, Rosemont, Pa 19010.

Dear Donna and Marc,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Jake was a large part of my day at CADES when I moved to the George Crothers Memorial School from the Linda J. Gross Preschool Program. There was never a day that Jake didn't smile or laugh. He always made my day! When he graduated there was a great void in my daily schedule. I sincerely missed his infectious smile and laugh. I will always cherish the time I had with Jake. He forever changed my life.

Donna, Marc, Aaron, and Elyse,
Jake touched everyone that had the honor to know him. As a new teacher at C.A.D.E.S in 1994, Jake was in my first class. He would just smile and laugh at all the craziness that went on throughout the day. Jake just made you smile and laugh with him. Your family provided him with such a meaningful life with all of your love and support. He was the King of St. Edmonds, and will be forever. Although Jake will be deeply missed, he will be in all of our hearts forever. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful son and brother with all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dearest Friends,
While the loss of a loved one is never easy, it is hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your son/sibling who has left us at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is so painful a reminder of what might have been. I give you my sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy & the kind acts of friends and strangers give you comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many and help you through this difficult time. I ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

May God Bless you all,
Sincerely,
Linda Baldt

I didn't know Jake for very long, but I would often see him when he'd come up to the front desk area either to go out, or to just hang out in the front office while Chrissy was faxing or copying something, but I could see how content he was and how much he was loved by his family and his family here at St. Edmond's. He was a beautiful young man who brought joy to everyone he came in contact with. My prayers are with Jake and his family.
