JACQUELINE BARROW Obituary

On February 5, 2016, it was decided by Christ that it was time for her to come home. Jacqueline was born January 23, 1960, to Eugene and Alice Bivens of Waverly, Va. She was a graduate of Sussex Central High School and went on to work as a health care professional for a number of years. She was a meek and loving person loved by everyone especially her grandchildren.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Bivens; brother, Edwin Bivens; nephew, Malcom Pezzano; and brother-in-law, Darrell Nance.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband of 38 years, Walter Barrow; three children, Keith Bivens of Chesterfield, Va., Devin Bivens and Sherrell Bivens, both of Waverly, Va.; two step-children, Irving Barrow of Chester, Va., Sandy Anderson of Macon, Ga.; mother, Alice Bivens; five grandchildren, Amuan Epps, Kanaijah Johnson, Nyasia Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Aubrielle Bivens and Shakena Bivens; six sisters, Connie Jones (Rudy) of Petersburg, Va., Viola Taylor(Joe) of Newport News, Va., Alisa Nance of Hopewell, Va., Joann Dowdell of Petersburg, Va., Charlene Tolbert(David) of Petersburg, Va., Avis Elliott (Alphonso) of Waverly, Va.; two brothers, Calvin Bivens and Lyle Bivens, both of Waverly, Va.; one aunt, Mattie Evans; two uncles, Timothy Evans and Ernest Evans; eleven nephews; four nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.

Viewing for Jacqueline Barrow will be Friday, February 12, 2016, from noon-6 p.m. Funeral service for Mrs. Barrow will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Lily of the Valley Deliverance Center, 411 Oak Street, Waverly, Va., Bishop Drew, pastor. Interment will follow at Waverly Cemetery Waverly, Va.
