Jacqueline A. Fickle, 81, of North Smithfield and formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Richard Fickle, Sr. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Florence (Gagnon) Piccolo. Jacqueline had worked in the accounts payable department for Ann & Hope for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2003.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Trish Lovering and her husband, Toby, and Richard Fickle Jr. She also leaves her sister, Gloria McGovern, her two grandchildren, Savannah Lovering and Ashley Hayhurst, and her son-in-law, James Hayhurst. She was the mother of the late Jo-Ann Hayhurst and Catherine Fickle.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 30th at 10:00 AM in Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Friday, prior to the Mass, from 8:30–9:15 AM in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI, 02906, in memory of Jacqueline, would be greatly appreciated.

We always enjoyed Aunt Jackie and Uncle Dick's visits to Nebraska. I loved to listen to her Rode Island accent and the way Grandpa Don would get her fired up.
