I used to attend a church group at your home back in 1980’s. I am a secon cousin of Lorne’s. I remember fondly our fellow shipping together. I believe Rev Bob Davies was assistant at St.Paul’s then. we do not grieve as as ones without hope. My prayers and thoughts at this sad time.

I recall chatting with Jackie after running in the same age group. She outran me of course, but she always encouraged my efforts with sincerity. She is free now, her marathon to Heaven.
Blessings to family.

I had the pleasure of working with Jackie at Safeway on Arthur St and then again at Court St. Not only was she a fellow employee but I like to think of her as a friend. She was always so kind, considerate and truly cared about people. She was well liked by staff and the many customers that she served daily. Jackie was very hardworking and always willing to take on extra shifts when needed, even when she was tired as she didn’t want to let anyone down. When she said she was retiring it was a sad day. Though I knew her retirement was well deserved I knew I would and did really miss her presence. She was a genuine, down to earth, beautiful person. Rest in paradise Jackie!
