Jacqueline Warnert

Jacqueline "Jackie" Warnert, 62, of Sauk Rapids, passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2024, with her husband faithfully by her side.

Born to James and Eleanor Maier on April 21, 1962 in Sauk Centre, MN, Jackie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She was known for her strength, kindness, selflessness, and unwavering support, which left a mark on everyone who knew her.

She loved spending quality time and riding motorcycles with her devoted husband, Bruce. They met in 1983 and were married at Munsinger Gardens in 1990. Together, they created countless memories of adventure and shared a bond filled with love and companionship, celebrating 34 years of marriage earlier this year.

Gardening gave Jackie great joy, and she could usually be found outside pulling weeds and tending to her vegetables and flowers in the Summer, or starting tomatoes indoors for her garden in the Winter. She would often share her garden vegetables with friends and family, and loved admiring their gardens too, finding peace and beauty in nature. She also enjoyed fishing, quality time with friends and family, riding horses, art, and fixing things.

Jackie worked at Perkins as a cook for many years, positively impacting the lives of coworkers and customers alike. She then worked in housecleaning with her mother and her sister Vickie, treasuring those moments of laughter and connection. Her most important and fulfilling "job" was being a wonderful mom who loved her children dearly and taught them love, integrity, selflessness, and so many other things.

She is survived by her husband Bruce; children Scott (Sarah) Maier, Jennifer (Kevin) Duffy, and Nicole (Cody) Kvistad; siblings Michelle (Roger) Traut, Danita (Kenny) Traut, Victoria Maier, and Jonathan (Jenny) Maier; and two beautiful grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother James Maier (Jr.) and her parents.

Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humility, and love. Her memory will forever bloom in the gardens she tended, the lives she touched, and the hearts she held so dear. While our hearts ache, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace and free from pain, at home with the Lord Jesus.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held at Harvest Fellowship Church (400 2nd Ave N, Sauk Rapids, MN) on Saturday, December 14th, officiated by Pastor Bruce Tessen. Visitation will begin at 10 am, with the service to follow at 11 am.
