Jacquelyn Lorraine Klippenstein ,96, passed away on September 18, 2024, in East Moline, Illinois. Born January 2, 1928, in St. Louis, Michigan, she was a lifetime resident of Richton Park and Park Forest, Illinois, where she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Abundant Grace United Church of Christ, 18200 Dixie Highway, Homewood, Illinois on October 28, 2024 at 10:00 am. Internment of ashes will be at the Memorial Garden at Faith Church in Park Forest.

Jacque and her husband, Barry, were longtime members of Rotary Club and of Faith Church, where Jacque loved to sing in the choir and had many friends. She belonged to Deborah Circle and was an enthusiastic supporter of Faith Theater, performing in musicals and creating costumes. She and Barry were instrumental in The Do It Yourself Messiah at Faith Church. She enjoyed style shows, playing bridge, gardening and was an ative member of Garden Club. She loved to laugh and never met a stranger.

Jacque loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children Caryn Luebke (Chuck), Phillip Wollenhaupt, stepchildren Rhonda Changizi (Hormoz), Robin Unruh (Michael), Mark Klippenstein and Judy Klippenstein, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Barry Klippenstein, stepson Barry Klippenstein, Jr and grandson, Hunter Wollenhaupt.
