I had lost touch with him for many years, but I remember how I loved my new 'big brother'. Sleep well, I'll see you again. My thoughts are with his family.

Jacque's smile is the first thing I think of. Part mischief, part delight, and always warm. Lesley's friendship has been my connection to Jacques, and through her, I watched their relationship grow and develop over the years. True partners in life. Thank you for the privilege. Jacques is well loved.

My father in law was a wonderful man and grandfather to all my children. Charlie J, Chrissie J, Joan H, Emily H, Lillian H, and Ellen H loved him. They will miss him and so will I.

I was with him during Happy times and I was with him during sad times but my strongest memory of him is his smile.
I will miss my dad.

I can count the times I have visited with Jacques on one hand but the impressions he left couldn't be counted on dozens of hands. I'm so glad he graced my life with his presence, he will be remembered fondly by all.

I worked with Jacques at CP Air. We both moved on to other endeavors but I never have forgotten the fun he brought to the work place. He quite certainly always had a story apt to every occasion. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Throughout one's life, people will weave in and out - some we remember for a period of time and then there are others who will be remembered longer as they had created a lasting impression. Jacques was one of those people who will always be remembered fondly and with a smile. He was authentic, warm, sweet, humorous and a great story-teller. He was also a great dogsitter and both Jacques and Lesley would embrace Finn staying at their house for a few hours. I think his light is still burning bright. He will be missed by myself and Finn too. Love Rae

The moment Jacques arrived, the party began. His colourful, self-effacing stories never failed to enrapt every guest. He would often break into song and I'm sure some of the French lyrics were colourful as well! I will miss Jacques forever.
