Dr. Jacques Joubert

JOUBERT, Dr. Jacques, M.D. Peacefully and surrounded with love, Dr. Jacques Joubert, M.D. passed away on March 11, 2009 in his 83rd year. Son of Dr. Louis de Gonzague Joubert and of Regine Trudeau, Jacques was a surgeon at the Hopital de Buckingham for close to forty years. He played an instrumental role in the creation of the Bibliotheque centrale de pret de l'Outaouais and sat on the Board of Directors of the Association mondiale des medecins francophones. Jacques is survived by his five children, Patrice (Cecilia Cormier), Natacha, Renaud, Gregoire and Isabelle (Gilles Forget) and by their mother Suzanne Joubert nee Letourneau; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Frederique, Eloise et Guillaume and by his brothers Jean and Andre (Pauline Forest) and sisters Marthe and Madeleine. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the considerate care given to Jacques by the 3rd floor staff of the Residence du Parc, St-Lambert. A time of remembrance will be held at a date to be announced shortly. Donations in Dr. Joubert's memory can be made to La Fondation du Centre Hospitalier de Buckingham.
