Jamel Blake Obituary
Jamel Idris Blake, 33, of Monticello's St. Phillip Community passed unexpectedly at home on Friday, December 16, 2016. Funeral services are 12 noon Tuesday, December 27, at Bethpage Missionary Baptist Church, Wacissa, with burial in St. Phillip AME Church Cemetery. A native of Beacon, NY, "Mel" had recently moved to Monticello. He is survived by his father, Larry Blake; mother, JoAnn Thorpe Blake; sister, Jamilia Blake; two nieces and a host of other immediate and extended family members and friends.
