James A. Graber Obituary

James Graber died suddenly Friday morning January 21st, 2022. He was 71 years old. He leaves behind his devastated family who loved him tremendously. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his daughter Carrie (Joel) and his son Michael (Shayna). He was a completely devoted grandfather to his three grandchildren Jacob, Rylee and Olivia who truly thought the world of their "pop". He is also survived by his sisters Kathy Ashton (Jeff) Emily Henry (Ron), Sallie Stewart, Julie Anderson and brother Jef Graber (Irene) many nieces and nephews, other family and many, many friends. Jim had recently retired, he was a very proud government employee and treasured his time there and loved the people he worked with. Jim lived a wonderful life. He was intensely private but for those who knew him he was intelligent, hardworking, kind, loyal, funny, generous and loved his people whole heartedly. He was an avid reader, loved accumulating knowledge from anywhere and anybody and really enjoyed a good stogie. He will be missed everyday for who he was and what he gave. In lieu of flowers we ask that you do what he did, think of others and if you find it in your heart, donate to someone or someplace that is deserving and in need. At some point when Peggy is ready we will have a celebration of his life gathering. B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home serving the family.

I only got the privilege of meeting him once at the home of mutual friends in Union, Kentucky. His wife Peggy is sure to miss his physical presence in her life. RIP.
