We just recently learned of Fr. Jim's "passing."
Fr. Jim was very dear to us and to all those involved w/ Worldwide Marriage Encounter.
(We are originally from the Uniontown, PA area.)
Fr. Jim & 3 couples traveled from the Pittsburgh area, five yrs ago (Dec. '99), to help us present the 1st Marriage Encounter Weekend in Charleston, WV., where we now live.
Fr. Jim's love, concern, and having the dream of the WWME Weekend, helped fulfill this wish of ours.
We loved him, will miss him greatly as he is fondly remembered for his commitment to sheperding God's people.
To the family of Fr. Jm, please accept our most deepest, most sincere sympathies.

Dear Sister Mary Philip,
Adrien Joins me in extending our sympathy to you at the loss of your brother, Father Jim Aaron. He was always wonderful and I've known him most of my life. It was lovely to see him at my mother's viewing last October when you visited--a special rememberance.
I am sorry. He will be missed.

Father Aaron was the pastor at St. Elizabeth Church in Pleasant Hills for many years. I attended St. Elizabeth High School from 1971-1975 and had gotten to know Father Aaron very well. He was not only a wonderful pastor and servant of God, he was such a kind and gentle man. May he rest in peace and continue to bless us from his heavenly home. He will be sorely missed by all.

We lost touch during the years...
You made a huge difference in my life as "MY Principal" at Saint Anthony's School in Oakmont from 1961 to 1969. You enabled me to become a capable person and even hold a job for 33 years now.
THANK YOU. Please keep an eye on me from heaven.
Love and Prayers,

To the family of Fr. Aaron: I was saddened to hear of the death of Fr. Aaron. I worked at the Diocese of Pittsburgh and spoke to him many times throughout the years. Such a wonderful, loving individual he was. He was a great priest and loved his work. I am sure he will be missed by all. I will remember all of you in my prayers.

Certainly this is a sad occasion. Many who looked up to him will miss him. May all find comfort to know that Jesus said at John 11:25,26 that I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life. All can gain comfort to know that there is the hope of seeing him again.
Sincerely,
Wanisha

Dear Sr. Mary Philip:
Please accept my sympathy and promise of prayers on the death of your brother. One of my earliest memories of the Mass is Fr. Aaron saying that early morning mass at St. Anthony's back in the early 1960s. God knows how much he was loved by those children. May God bless and console you and your family!
Love and prayers,
Fr. Jim Dowds, C.Ss.R.
