James Willford "Jim" Ainsley

I had the pleasure of working with Jim several years ago when we both were C-130 Simulator Instructors. He was always a true professional. Please accept my condolences for your loss and my gratitude for Jim's service to our country.

So sorry to hear of our Chief's passing. He was a true friend and amazing mentor for my generation of loadmasters. I was blessed to have had him in my life when I needed expert advice from one of the best in our field. He'll be missed but know that I will carry a part of him with me always as I have continued my loadmaster journey in the civilian world.

It was a great pleasure caring for Mr. Ainsley. He was a joy to be around. Me deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

I served with Jim in the Air Force. He was a great boss and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jim was a great drag racer, because he had fun doing it. Our paths didn't cross until the dragstrip but I think I would have enjoyed knowing him better away from the track. God Bless!
