Jim was my third brother i never consider him as a brother in law. Jim had a very kind and loving nature an always love to kid with me. I love you Jim and know you are at peace and we will meet again soon and have a great family reunion..We will miss you and speak of you often.I will always remember you calling me slick and your bear hugs. Jim and I always talked about the fishing trip we were going to take together. We would sit in the front yard and make all kind of plans on what we were going to do. He loved to fish at the coast and so do I, but something always came up and we were never able to go. We would tell our fishing stories and the fish always seem to get bigger and bigger when we told them. I am going to miss not going on that fishing trip with him, but more than that I am going to miss sitting in the front yard with him making plans and telling our stories. I miss you Jim.

Jim was a wonderful caring person. Even though he had bigger jobs than what I needed, he would always take the time and fix what ever it was I needed. He would give me the care and attention as if it was a big job. I will never be able to look out my windows without thinking of him, but my fondest memory of Jim was when he would be on the tractor. He would be plowing the field up with the most serene look, he looked like he didn't have a care in the world when he was on it. He would always wave and say I am going to have to wash your car when I am finish because of all the dust I'm kicking up. God has taken Jim home now to be with his son. I will miss that sweet smile and that wave on the tractor. May God grant peace and comfort to all the loved ones that Jim leaves behind.

Jim will be missed! a dear friend to the Buchanan Family him, and his Son Chris where always around throughout my child hood I loved His Son like a brother I loved Jim like an uncle we shared lots of adventures together Rest In Peace, and Much Love to the Family...

I met Jim several times at Dr. Deans, he was a wonderful builder and seemed to enjoy his work. He did amazing work and showed kindness and professionalism. I know many will miss him. My heart goes out to his family, may God give you the strength and comfort you need thru this difficult time.

Its hard to find the words to express the sadness of the loss of such a fine and good man, We are blessed to have been apart of your life journey. Our thoughts and prayers are with Patricia, Gina and Family during this time. Until we meet again friend, God Speed.

I only knew Jim's silly side, That sly beautiful smile, he always had words of encouragement for me and made me laugh. My deepest sympathy.

Although I had not seen Jim for many years, I have thought of him quite often, remembering our younger, wilder days and reminiscing over fun/foolish things that we had done. Jim, you will always be in my memories!

Sorry to hear of your loss.Jim and I were friends from early teens.Lost touch with Jim after he moved back from New York where we went to work back in the late 80s and I had stayed on for another three and half years.Wish we would have kept in touch.Seems like he did good with his life!Again my condolence.

Frances and I owe Jim a great deal for dragging us up by the boot straps after two floods. We couldn't have rebuilt at the level we did without him. We will miss him.
