James Algeo Obituary
James Ernest Algeo, III, age 70, died at his home on Fox Lake, Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Jim was born on March 20, 1954 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH the son of James and Ruth Beatrice (Osterfeld) Algeo. Following his high school graduation in 1972 from Fairmont West High School in Kettering, OH, Jim furthered his education at Ohio University and obtained a degree in accounting in 1976. He worked various jobs prior to his employment with Saputo of Fond du Lac in 1988. It was there he met his future bride, Wanda L. Hanson and they were united in marriage on April 2, 1994 in Fond du Lac. In 2011, Jim and Wanda moved to the beautiful shores of Fox Lake where he resided ever since. Jim retired from Saputo in Alto in 2017. In his free time, Jim loved to go fishing, boating and taking the step-grandchildren out on the water whether in the boat or on the jet skis.
Jim will be sadly missed and mourned by his wife, Wanda of Fox Lake; step-children, Mark Miller of Waupun, Jeff (Misty) Miller of Fond du Lac and Rhonda (Chad) Guse of Waupun; his sister, Sue (Ted) Liggett of OH, Henry Algeo of IL and David Algeo of VT; nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, several other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials in Jim's name can be given to SSM-Hospice, 745 South St. #4, Green Lake, WI 54941; Annunciation Catholic Church, 305 W. Green St., Fox Lake, WI 53933; or to Fox Lake EMS, P.O. Box 105, Fox Lake, WI 53933.
Per Jim's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.

Jim was a roommate of mine at Ohio University. Although we never saw each other after that, we exchanged Christmas cards for decades. The card always included the tagline "Athens in Spring." Here´s to his memory. Condolences to the family.
