James Annan Obituary
Joe died peacefully on Father's Day, June 15, 2025.
Joe was born in Fairmont, WV to James P. and Clarice B. Annan. He was the fourth of six children. He attended elementary school at St. Peter's, high school at East Fairmont and college at Fairmont State College.
After college, Joe moved to Florida where he worked and raised his family. After retiring, he decided to volunteer to teach English as a a second language around the world. Using his excellent photography skills he documented the countries he visited, the people he met and shared his love of this great adventure.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clarice and his elder brothers Gene Paul and John Pat Annan.
Joe is survived by his daughters, Kelly Hill and Lindsay Krahl, their husbands and grandsons Jacob and Landon Hill and Noah and Max Krahl. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Patton, husband Jim, brothers Robert (Bob) Annan and Tom Annan and wife Cindy. He has many surviving nieces, nephews, cousins And grand nieces and nephews.
Joe's celebration of life will be private.
