We will always remember Jim as a very caring, gentle, and loving man. This was so evident when he was with his special granddaughter Shelley. We will also remember him as a very friendly person who enjoyed engaging in a good conversation. May his loved ones find comfort in the many wonderful memories of the time spent together.

It is with shock and great sadness that I learn of James passing. My condolences to Shirley and all Jim and Shirley's families. Jim was a welcome addition to my life when he and Shirley met and formed their loving relationship. Jim will be missed by myself and all that knew him.

I am very sorry in being so late to send a message to Shirley and Jim's family. Jim was a member of the More Telegraph Club for a few years until he was no longer able to attend meetings because of conflicting dates with our meetings and his dialysis treatments. We have always dent a donation to a charity in memory of a member. Can someone please tell me what charity would be your lchoice, and to whom the acknowledgment from the charity should be sent. Thank you.

Jimmy worked at CN Telegraphs as did I. He worked in the back of the building and I worked in the front. Very friendly man. Always brought in cherry tomatoes from his garden. It was a pleasure to know Jimmy.

As my sister has wrote, Jimmy meant a lot to us as children. He was a gentle and kind man who I was lucky enough to have met.

We had great times together, Jim was like my second Dad. He taught me so many things in life, like how to fillet a fish and how to BBQ the best pork chops in town. His gardening tips also helped Sue be a better gardener. It seemed Jim knew something about everything. We would have long talks about life experiences. I think I am the person I am today because of Jim. To this day I use Jim's classic sayings. The fishing trips were the greatest at Little Bear lake, from early spring snow to 25 c in the sun or even rain. We spent time in the garage making Christmas figures that I still put out every Christmas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim's loved ones, he will never be forgotten.

Going to visit Jimmy and Maggie was always a special thing to do as a kid. Even as a teenager I can remember looking forward to our Christmas Eve visit with them, they were such warm and fun people.
