James Baumgartner Obituary
Jim was the beloved son of Othmar and Margaret Baumgartner (Gallagher). He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Anna Rose Baumgartner (Colucci), and his children: Jolene Baumgartner Glynn, & Husband Jim, Boyd Baumgartner & Wife Micki, and Brent Baumgartner. He was a proud grandfather to Todd & Jona Glynn and Ava & Margo Baumgartner. Jim is also remembered fondly by his siblings Ken, Elaine, Dan, Bonnie, and Judy. He was predeceased by his parents; his son Todd Baumgartner; his sister Mary Novotny; and his brother Ronnie Baumgartner.
Jim had a distinguished career in the technology industry, working with companies such as Control Data, Honeywell, Honeywell Bull, NEC, and Candle. His expertise and dedication led him to retire not once but twice during his successful professional journey.
In 1988, Jim moved his family to New Hampshire, where he embraced the beauty of the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman at heart, he found joy in fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, and snowmobiling. He was also an active member of Trout Unlimited, reflecting his passion for conservation and nature.
Jim's life was one of love for family and adventure in the great outdoors. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held in Forest Lake MN this Spring.
May his legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Sorry to hear of Jim´s death. He was a wonderful person, competent professional loyal friend, a devoted husband and father.
May The love of friends and family carry you through your grief. My condolences to Anna, Jolene and the rest of Jim´s family.

I worked with Jim at Honeywell/Honeywell Bull. More importantly I was a fishing buddy with Jim and and a member of the Bull Salmon Club (BSC). I went on many fishing trips with Jim and have great memories of fishing with Jim at Yellowstone National Park, the Connecticut Lakes in New Hampshire and many lakes and rivers in Maine. Jim was a jovial companion, a great teller of tales and showed great love for his family. Specifically, I recall him telling stories about his daughter Jolene and son Boyd. I offer my condolences to the family and want them to know that Jim was appreciated as a sportsman and conservationist, is respected as a businessman and revered as a friend. RiP Jim.
