James Nelson Bevan

I am a fellow class mate, and remember Jim as not only a friend but a caring and guy always cheerful and always ready to talk, not to mention his basketball skills. Prayers to his family and may he rest in peace.

Dear Pat and family,

We were shocked and saddened upon the sudden passing of your beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

I worked with Jim at Strayer; he was a man with a huge heart and great wit...the students and faculty loved him. He will be missed by so many.

May God wrap His arms of comfort around each family member...giving strength and courage to move forward.

Jim, Pat and I graduated from Quakertown High in 1969. I remember Jim as a fun-loving and caring young man. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing.. Jim was my legion baseball coach. One of the best coaches I had and taught me alot! He will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Bevan was my teacher for several years. I can say he was the best teacher ever. Always full of life, fun, down to earth, and an amazing teacher. I'll always remember how he would play kickball, basketball, and football with us. On top of that, I remember how he always let us have parties in his classes. Pat and family, so sorry to hear of Jims passing. You all have my condolences and prayers. Jim was a good guy and classmate. Im sure he will be missed dearly.

Mr. Bevan was my homeroom teacher at strayer and was by far my most favorite baseball coach I have ever played for. His sense of humor was second to none and I am very Happy that our lives crossed paths. He was a great teacher, an amazing coach and an even better person. He will definitely be missed!!

I spent many years team teaching with Jim at Richland and Strayer....we had so much fun, lots of laughter. Fond memories Jim....you will be missed...
