Sorry for the late response; Jim was a great boss and inspiration to me way back in the early days of space travel.

Jim was a teacher and a respected colleague for many years. I had no idea about his WW2 exploits, but I'm not surprised. May he rest in peace.

For so many of us that started fresh from the University at NASA Flight Crew Training in the mid 1960's, Jim was a true mentor and a friend. I will always remember Jim for his words of advise when ever you needed him. My prayers are with him and his family.

Just a real great guy to be around and to work with. Always loved that great smile and how he used to dig at me all the time. One of the great NASA guys who contributed to the Space Program.

Jim was my first Division Chief when joined the Flight Crew Support Division in 1966. His guidance, friendship and examples shaped my career and much of my life. I cherish my time working for him and will remember him forever. Thank you, Jim.

Too many of our wonderful NASA colleagues like James Bilodeau who accomplished so much during the 1960s are now beginning to pass and are no longer on this earth with us. We
continue to love and miss all of them.
"The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time we own. Live, love, learn, enjoy to the utmost the wonderful hours each of us has left. Place no faith in time ... for our clock of life may soon be still."
