What a privilege to have traveled, trained and competed with a guy that made the sport of ski jumping look so damn easy. Thanks for the memories my friend. You have taken the ultimate flight, but I know I will see you at the top of that perfect ski jump again some day; with your father watching us of course. With 20s from all of the judges, enjoy the ride!

Another friend gone to soon. Partied with Jim a lot back in the 80s and always had a good time. Rode to Sturgis with him twice. Was best man at his first wedding. Got to know his mom and dad and Jim was a lot like his dad. Ride on Jim. My condolences to his wife and all his family.

Jim will be sadly missed, he always had a smile for everyone.

I have many great memories of Jim and I growing up together as kids. We did a lot of grown up things at our young ages. I'll leave it at that.
