Will always miss ya! You changed my life for the better! I'll never forget you. I still stop by and see you anytime I pass through that way.

It's been 15 years since you left us but it seems like yesterday. You were very special to me and I will never forget that it was you that brought your mom and I together. I miss you so much especially on days like today. Everyone has told me that you were lucky to have me in your life when in fact I was the lucky one. My prayers are that you and my stepson Craig are looking down on your families and realize how much you changed our lives for the better. You were loved, you are loved, and your are missed. I really was lost for words this morning.... I didn't wanna get up today. I knew what today was, what it meant. A Year, a cold cold year without you here. Dear Linda, Tim, Samantha, and Houston,

Everyday when I wake up I read the texts, and voice mails I received from James, so I can be reminded of our wonderful times, and how great of a friend he was to me. No matter what, James was ALWAYS there for me. He was such a great friend that he would put ME, out of all people, over himself. Linda, you are such a wonderful mom, I would always tell James how jealous I was about how wonderful you were, and how much I loved your endless assortment of AMAZING food. You even let us come in at 2 am and eat half the house. lol
My dad found the note James wrote, I should be in town January 2nd..I'll call the house to see when the best time to come over is. I also have some jackets, and cd's of his if you want those as well. I hope you received the flowers I sent to the funeral home....I'm so sad I couldn't make it, My professor wouldn't let me out my exam :(
Sorry this is so long, but James was the best friend anyone could ask for, and I'm SOOOOOOO sorry for your loss and mine. I'm happy at least to know that with his great character and integrity that god will take care of him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family this Christmas, I know it's not the same without him. Merry Christmas!!! I'll call when I get into town....I love you all!

I told grandmamma that grandpapa was probably at the pearly gates to welcome you to heaven and you probably started joking with him about where his cowboy hat and boots were. I'm sure he now wears gold ones which have got to be a sight. The day of grandpapa's funeral you told me that he would always drop what he was doing to give you a hand with your truck or whatever you needed and that you wish you had spent more time with him.
