We would visit our dear nephew and he would sometimes come stay with us (once for a month) in CT/MA. Me, his aunt Sara, daughters Angela and Sharon, often with cousin Rachel too. We would also enjoy get togethers with the other ME cousins. People were attracted to JD because of his wit, sense of humor and mischeif; his cousins expected and seemed to enjoy the plots he would devise to manipulate his ways, while the adults were fair game too. He was anything but boring. While his life was too short, I am sure there are hundreds of people that can say "we sure had fun".

James was a special kind of person, he would give anyone in need the shirt off his back, he would help any one out. He always listened to everything I had to say even if i was crying or mad or happy, he was the person i would go to for advice or a sholder to lean on! I remember one time i spent the night at someones house and i didn't know where i was and wanted to leave asap and I called james and he drove around an hour and a half untill he found me! It's times like that when you know who your true friends are! James loved and cared for all of his friend and family deeply. I know james is in a nice place looking down on all of us!

James Sr; We lost a great young man,who I know, gave our family alot of fond memories and great sport moments when we watched him play sports growing up with our son Anthony DeRosa. Anthony told me about the the accident and the outcome that day and how he was just talking with James the day before at the store by the airport mall and how sad he felt and how smart James was with computers. How he had built a computer from scratch and it worked great. I personally didn't know that he even worked on pc. Sounds like James had a great future a head of him. I used to love it when you'd come to a game and James would get up to bat, and I hear your voice coacing him on and the words that I still hear in my head " COME ON BABE,LETS GO HIT IT OUT OF HEAR" sure as I'm sitting here right now boom!! homerun, one I remember he hit it the hot dog stand he hit it so hard. Well so sorry to hear about Jr. he,s at peace and will be miss by many. You take care and god bless you and all your family. Kip DeRosa email is," [email protected]"

James Sr; We lost a great young man,who I know, gave our family alot of fond memories and great sports moments when we watched him play sports growing up with our son Anthony DeRosa. Anthony told me about the terrible accident and the outcome that day and how he was just talking with James the day before at the store by the airport mall and how sad he felt by the passing of Jr. He also was telling me how smart James was with computers. How he had built a computer from scratch and it worked great. I personally didn't know that he even worked on pc. Sounds like James had a great future a head of him. Home run.The one I really sticks in my head that I remember, was when Jr.hit the ball beyond the fence for a home run. Jr, hit the ball so hard that the ball went into the hot dog stand. James,I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Jr's at peace now and will be sadly missed by many. You take care and God Bless you James and all your family. Kip DeRosa email is," [email protected]"

Carole,
I know we haven't spoken in years but the news of James passing has reached me. I think back to when you were caring for my son Zion and I remember admiring the strong bond and loving relationship that you and "Jamesee" had. You taught me a lot as a single mother. I am so sorry you are going through this Carole, but you are a good strong woman and you will make it through this. I will be praying for you, Danielle and the entire family. If you ever need an ear I am here.
Love,

I still cant believe this, I am heartbroken. You were such a wonderful kid, always so happy and smiling. Your mother always talked so very highly of you. Last time I spoke with you was on new years and you were so cute and sweet telling me how me and your mom need to get together and you were talking about how big Danielle had gotten. You were so proud while speaking of them.
What a life to take, such an incredible man James. We all know you'll be watching over us. We love you and you will be missed by all. My deepest sympathy to friends and Family
