Dearest Judy,
I send my deepest condolences.
So often, I think of the great times we had in our youth.
The years with Jack Burkhard, the gigs, the double dates , and on and on.
Sure it has been so many years and so many memories we shared but you and Jim have never been far from my heart.
Jim was not only a fine musician, but a wonderful person who I will remember forever.
God bless you and your family.

Dearest Judy,Jimmy and Randy
Although it had been years since I had spoken with Jimmy, I feel good that I had a chance to speak with him last month. I will always remember him with his "Dutchboy" hair cut. He would comment to me that Buddy and I couldn't wear our hair as such because we were "too Italian"
My he now Rest In Peace.

Judy and the gang, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.
Jimmy was someone I cared for and admired.
I have amazing memories of the years we spent together on the road and he was always Mr. Calm in all of the insanity we call show biz.
In my many years of managing both Buddy and Jack it was always good to know I had Jimmy to talk to.
We had more laughs and stories than anyone can ever imagine or believe.
Jimmy was the consummate pro behind the drums.
I am going to miss him and I am grateful and proud to have known him.
And yes Jimmy wherever you are right now:

Judy, Jimmy Jr., Randy, and all the grandkids. We are deeply saddened and send to all of you our sympathy. As we reflect on the passing of Jimmy, a great loving Husband, a fantastic caring Dad, and a proud compassionate Grandpa, our family will always hold close to our hearts many memories of a true loyal friend of many years. We’ll remember Jimmy as a man who enjoyed laughter, fun, family get-togethers, and an occasional lobster. We’ll remember Jimmy as a superior, yet humble musician. A person who one moment would acknowledge a standing ovation from thousands of music lovers and ten minutes later become the down to earth friend we knew and loved. We have traveled together often, dined together often, visited together often, and have had many laughs together. Good bye Jimmy. We’ll miss you. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Chuck & Diane Stewart and sons, Bill, Scott, Tim, and Dana.

Dear Judy,
I was so sorry to read in the paper today of the death of your husband and my old friend. It has been so many years since we were in high school together. Those were the best years of my life hanging around with Jim and the rest of the guys. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
